The first quarter of 2024 saw notable activity among the top consumer finance apps on the iOS platform in South America. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais experienced a dynamic quarter in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked at around 193K in early January and saw fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 130K in the last week of March. Active users remained robust, starting the quarter at about 10.2M and peaking at around 10.7M in mid-March before closing at roughly 10.1M.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix had a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads ranged from 61K to 78K, showing a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users hovered between 1.6M and 1.8M, with a slight dip mid-quarter but generally maintaining a stable user base.

will bank: Cartão de crédito showed significant variability in weekly downloads, peaking at around 88K in mid-March. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 429K in early January and reaching approximately 461K by mid-March, before a slight decline to 424K at the end of the quarter.
